1. Who We Are
This website is owned and operated by Olympic Metals Ltd., 90 Adelaide Street West, Suite 400, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In this policy, we, us and our mean Olympic Metals Ltd.
We handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and we send email under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. This policy covers olympicmetals.com and any information you send us by email or through a form on the site. It does not cover other websites we link to.
2. What We Collect And Why
You can read this whole website without giving us anything. We only collect personal information if you choose to give it.
- If you subscribe to our updates, we collect your email address, your name if you give it, and the date and time you agreed. We use it to send you company news.
- If you email us or use a contact form, we collect your name, your email address and whatever is in your message. We use it to answer you.
- If you apply for a role, we collect what you send us. We use it to consider your application.
We also collect technical information automatically as you browse, including your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and where you arrived from. We use it to understand how the site is used, to keep it working and to keep it secure. We do not use it to try to identify you.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
3. Consent
We ask for your consent before we collect, use or share your personal information, unless the law allows or requires us to act without it.
When you subscribe, you give us express consent to send you commercial electronic messages. You do that by ticking a box that is never ticked for you. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. You can also withdraw consent by writing to us at the address in section 8. Withdrawing consent does not undo anything we did lawfully beforehand, and it does not affect information the law requires us to keep.

We use necessary cookies to make the site work, including remembering your cookie choice. We use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used, and we set those only if you agree. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the site or through your browser. If you turn cookies off, some parts of the site may not work.
Our email updates also use technology that tells us whether a message was opened and whether a link in it was clicked. We use that to understand which updates people find useful.
5. Who We Share It With
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and send email, with our professional advisers, with a party to a merger, financing or sale of the business, and with government, courts or securities regulators where the law requires it. Service providers may only use it to do the work we have asked them to do.
Some service providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement of that country under its laws. We choose providers who protect personal information to a comparable standard and we put contracts in place to that effect.
6. Keeping It And Protecting It
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as long as the law requires. After you unsubscribe we keep a minimum record so we do not email you again by mistake. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
We protect personal information with physical, organisational and technical safeguards suited to how sensitive it is, and access is limited to people who need it. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will report it and notify the people affected as the law requires.
7. Your Rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. Write to us at the address in section 8 and we will respond within thirty days. We may need to confirm who you are first. There is no charge for a routine request.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Children
This website is for investors, shareholders, media and people interested in the company. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, please write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so.
